Ambassador
In order to spread public awareness about Dyslexia, the Madras Dyslexia Association (MDA) has joined hands with noted cricketer, R. Ashwin who will now be the Goodwill Ambassador for the organization.
Ashwin's participation is to help MDA propagate the message of inclusive education for Dyslexic children whereby they are provided assistance in mainstream schools.
His association with MDA will also help further their cause in enlightening teachers, parents and policy-makers about this learning disorder that affects nearly 10% of school-going children world-wide.
On visiting the MDA Learning Centres, R. Aswhin, International Cricketer, expressed his happiness to be associated with such a meaningful cause and said, "I look forward to getting further involved with the activities of the MDA."
Mr. Chandrasekhar, Founder & President of MDA, said, "Awareness is a key component in understanding Dyslexics. We are very happy to have someone like R. Ashwin to support us in spreading greater awareness of Dyslexia and the importance of inclusive education."
People with Dyslexia are visionaries, inventors, and artists. They think differently, see the world differently. It is from this difference that the dyslexic brain derives its brilliance.
Help us make difference
